Why buy now, not in spring
Most players shop for a new bat in March and April, right before the season. That's when prices are full and popular models run short. Buying in the off-season gets you a better price and time to prepare and get used to your new bat before your first match. At 50% off, the savings on a single bat run from about $140 to $275.
Which sale bat is right for you?
- Want the best willow grade? The Protos WhirlWind and Zee Sports Woodpecker Gold One are Grade 1 English willow.
- Big hitter? Look at the Gray Nicolls Omega XRD GN3, Protos Cyclone or Zee Sports White Edition, which has a big center spot and a mid-to-bottom strike zone for front-foot power.
- All-rounder or stroke player? The Gray Nicolls Kaboom Warner GN2.5 Mid Profile and Zee Sports Blue Steel are built for balanced stroke play.
- Want something light and quick? The Zee Sports Woodpecker White Three is built for balance and light weight, and at $139.83 it's the lowest-priced English willow bat on the sale.
- Need gloves too? Grab one of the two Gray Nicolls bundles, one for right-handed and one for left-handed batters.
